Prep For
Your Install

When we come to you, a few things keep the install on schedule and on quality. We need a clean, dry, enclosed or covered space — a garage, shop bay, or warehouse — that stays above 60°F with room to work around the entire vehicle and access to a standard power outlet. The vehicle should be washed and dried in advance and parked in the install area, out of direct wind, dust, and weather. Please have the space cleared and the vehicle ready at the scheduled time so our team can get right to the prep that matters.

For window tint, clean glass and a clean interior make all the difference. Make sure all windows — inside and out — are free of stickers, old film, debris, and residue, and remove any suction-cup mounts, toll tags, or decals you want kept off the glass. Clear the back deck and door pockets so we have full access to every window. Plan to leave the windows up and avoid rolling them down for 3–5 days after install so the film can fully cure, and expect a little haze or water pockets at first that clear as it dries.

A clean, sound surface is everything for a lasting wrap. Wash and dry your vehicle within 24 hours of your appointment — no wax, sealant, or tire shine, as those keep the vinyl from bonding. Remove magnets, bug deflectors, badges, antennas, and any trim you want kept off the wrap, and clear personal items from the interior and bed. Address any dents, rust, or peeling paint beforehand, since vinyl conforms to whatever is underneath it. Plan for us to keep the vehicle 3–5 days and arrange a ride or loaner ahead of time.
